Forest garden

I am planning a forest garden. This is an intelligently designed three dimensional food system. The edges of the land are high leading down hill to a ditch and pond. The lower area will remain open a shelter belt surrounds the land. The hills on each side are then planted with fruit and nut trees. Along with nitrogen fixing plants and mineral acumulators bee and insect attractors. There will also be willow for fuel and basketry and hazel for coppice. I will try and explain the systems used and design as it comes into being. So far I have the canopy layer planned and my first trees will arrive in January
